Daniel's life is a powerful witness of the "excellent Spirit" by which he lived.  More than being an emissary of prophetic messages, this man lived with his roots deep in the Lord in all seasons of his life.

Ezekiel’s temple is like nothing else in the Scriptures; through it, the Spirit seeks to reveal Christ in a beautiful way.  Here we see a new humanity and a corporate habitation for the Lord’s presence.  It is a spiritual reality that works out on the earth in His body.  

Major Prophets Lesson 8: Ezekiel's Visions -- Wheels within Wheels

In this episode, we look at the wheels in the vision Ezekiel relates to us in chapter one.  All of the prophets speak of Christ, and this passage is no exception.  The Spirit that fuels the chariot of God's glory IS Christ, and we can know Him in such a way that we become part of the wheels that move Him forward in the earth. 
So let's put our eyes on Jesus and participate in bringing His presence wherever He wants to go!

Major Prophets Lesson 7: Ezekiel -- The Appointed Watchman

In this episode, we introduce Ezekiel, both the man and the book.  More importantly, we dig into the Scriptures to get a glimpse of how the Lord used this amazing prophet among the captives in Babylon.  As we find the Lord's mind for the captives, we come to understand the process of the Holy Spirit in applying the Cross to our own souls!

Major Prophets Lesson 6: The Sufferings of Christ and the Fruitfulness of Christ in Jeremiah

Jeremiah gives us one of the greatest displays of the sufferings of Christ in the whole Bible.  In this lesson, we dig into how Jeremiah's sufferings come from the Spirit of Christ, which is confirmed in the New Testament Scriptures!  
We look at these things because we want Christ to live in us.  In Jeremiah, we see one way in which He does so -- by bearing with those who are not in the image of Christ.  When we take on the image of the Crucified, we are on the path to true fruitfulness!

Major Prophets Lesson 5: Jeremiah — Whom the Lord Appointed

In this episode, we compare and contrast Jeremiah with Isaiah, whose call and ministry were very different from Jeremiah’s.  Also, we delve into the grief of this man who is so often known as the Weeping Prophet.  

Major Prophets Lesson 4: Isaiah's View of the Messiah and Introduction to the Times of Jeremiah

How Christ was revealed to Isaiah was fundamental to the New Testament writers.  We look at a few powerful examples of how they quoted Isaiah to preach Christ.  
To begin our study of Jeremiah, we look at the times in which He lived to assist us in our understanding of his writings.  We trust this will lay a groundwork that the Holy Spirit can use in the individual believer's pursuit of Christ in this area of Scripture!

In this episode, we look at a couple of pervasive themes in Isaiah's writings, themes that reveal Christ's relationship with us by His Cross: Christ as Kinsman-Redeemer, and Christ as Servant. 

Major Prophets 02: Isaiah -- Prophet on a Grand Scale

Considered the most sublime of all the prophets, Isaiah's vista of God from eternity past to eternity future gives glorious context to the message of salvation the Lord had sent Him to deliver.  From deepest corruption of man in chapter 1 to the new heavens and new earth promised in chapter 66, Isaiah gives us access to the High and Lofty One who inhabits eternity. 
For someone who wants to begin seeing Christ in the prophets, Isaiah is a wonderful place to start!
